Cheers to the Wine and Spirit Festival at Sugar Beach

sugar beach

Sugar Beach is one of the best spots in Toronto, no matter what time of year it is. Seriously, it’s no secret that we love Sugar Beach. So naturally we were thrilled when we heard that the Wine and Spirit Festival was returning again this year!

The festival will be taking over Sugar Beach from June 16th to 18th and here’s a little taste of what you can expect:

Get Schooled

Come to the festival and get schooled in all things wine, spirits, cider, and beer! Festival-goers are welcomed (and encouraged!) to attend these free sessions put on by experts in the industry. Want to learn more about mixology? What about how to pair different food and alcohol? There’s a variety of sessions available and they’re all first come, first serve, so start planning out your weekend now. Learning has probably never sounded so fun before.

Enjoy Some Tunes

All good festivals needs some entertainment on hand. The Wine and Spirit Festival will have a stage set up with local artists performing a variety of genres so there’ll be a little something for everyone. You can see a lineup of who’s playing all weekend long over here.

Vendors

There are over 50 vendors, including Brickworks Ciderhouse and Mill Street Brewery, already confirmed for this year’s fest! On the list of you’ll find a variety of breweries, wineries, and so much more. With so many vendors, you’re going to want to come up with a game plan ahead of time of what you want to sample. Luckily you can browse a full list of vendors and what they’re bringing to the festival ahead of time!

Tickets are $25 in advance ($35 at the gate – cash only!) and a portion of all ticket sales go to support the Music Therapy Trust Fund. Get more details over at their website here.
