Summer may technically end this week, but that’s no reason to get upset. Autumn in the city is one of the most beautiful times of the year. The humidity and scorching summer temperatures go down and the weather could not be more mild and enjoyable. It’s a great time to get outdoors and explore the city. With the weather being so pleasant, a great place to start are the greens spaces and parks in your very own neighbourhood. There are lots to choose from! Continue reading

How Sweet It Is: Claude Cormier Talks Urban Beaches
It’s no secret that urban beaches are a big thing here in Toronto, and we just so happen to have a close tie with the man behind a few of your favourites! Claude Cormier is one of Canada’s most prevalent landscape architects, whose work in Toronto, Montreal, and around the world is highly acclaimed. He is the guy behind Sugar Beach – our city’s sweetest hangout spot! Cheers to the Wine and Spirit Festival at Sugar Beach

How Sweet It Is: Our Recap of Sugar Shack TO
We were so happy to attend and have our developer, Cityzen, be a sponsor of the first annual Sugar Shack Toronto event!
The cabane à sucre was hosted by Waterfront Toronto and took place all weekend long at Sugar Beach. Close to 8,000 visitors came out to get a dose of traditional Québécois food, music, and fun activities like ice sculpting. There’s no question that the hit of the event was the maple taffy stand – people were lined up on both Saturday and Sunday to get a taste of the sweet treat! It was the perfect way to take in the beautiful spring weather we had this past weekend and spend some time on the waterfront.
If you didn’t get a chance to pop by Sugar Shack Toronto this year, here’s a sneak peek at what you missed:
Thank you to Waterfront Toronto for hosting this awesome event! See you all next year.

Originating in Québec, the official name for this type of event is cabane à sucre, which translates to ‘sugar shack.’ Hosted by Waterfront Toronto, we’re really excited to be one of the sponsors for this awesome new winter festival (and as an added bonus, it’s being held at one of our favourite spots in the city!). Sugar Beach in the Winter
It’s been a super warm winter here in Toronto, and we can’t complain!
Not only have we not had to whip out our parkas yet, but it means spending time outside is a bit more bearable than our typical frigid Canadian winter weather. That being said, we do love winter because once the snow hits the ground the city completely transforms. It becomes a beautiful urban landscape covered in white, and we love it. Continue reading

If you thought your office was cool, you haven’t seen anything yet. Continue reading
Looking Ahead: A View From the Lake
If you haven’t been to our website yet, it’s about time you check out our homepage. It is the introduction to the Pier 27 Tower with stunning views of the lake and equally stunning views of our beautiful city.
If you’ve ever been down to Toronto’s waterfront, you know it can be a lively place. With Sugar Beach, Billy Bishop Airport, and all of the boats out on any given summer day, Toronto makes for a pretty picturesque place! We wanted to give you a glimpse into what your view could look like if you live in the Pier 27 Tower, so we took the drone out on the water on a gorgeous day for a view shot. We also added in the latest rendering of our building, so if you haven’t seen it yet check out the video below. Continue reading

Unless you’ve been living under one of the Claude Cormier-designed rocks at Sugar Beach, you probably know that the new Queen’s Quay is now up and running! The revitalized area officially opened in June and has been met with outstanding positivity ever since. Our waterfront really needed something like this, and it’s now a world-class street.
